When 13 year old Daniel woke up on July 2, we did not know that it was going to be his last day on earth. That afternoon, without any warning, there was a car collision and Daniel, who was innocently sitting in the back seat with his seat belt on, was killed instantly ... he left this earth ... into eternity. But Daniel was ALREADY PREPARED for his death, whenever that would take place. He was READY......ARE YOU?
Two months before Daniel left this earth, his school assignment was to place himself in two places/situations and to describe how he felt. He chose .... Heaven and Hell.
HEAVEN
I see the pearly gates of Heaven,
And the solid streets of gold.
I feel the peacefulness, joy and love
That comes in being with our dear Lord.
I taste the sweet, refreshing waters
From the ocean of delight.
I hear the laughter and the praises
That we lift up to our King.
HELL
I see the gates of Hell claiming many victims,
Many coming in, but none going out.
I feel the roaring hot fire on me and all around me
But sadly it does not claim my life.
I have the taste of coals and ashes in my mouth
Wishing for the taste of something from above.
I hear the shrieking cries of all my friends
As we are now being punished for our sins.
